About Colorado Hunter Services
Colorado Hunter Services has obtained access to private land in prime Colorado Elk and Mule Deer areas. Our properties are near Craig and Slater Colorado in the NW part of the state. Elevation is approximately 6000-8000 feet. We also hunt thousands of acres of adjoining BLM property.
The hunting is self guided, and we provide maps and property boundary information. We communicate with the hunters each day to see how the hunt is progressing and discuss any other needs.
Guided and semi-guided hunts can also be arranged. On these hunts the guides assist with game retrieval, trophy care and meat processing.
PRIME Location for New Mexico Elk Hunting
Archery, Muzzleloader and Rifle hunts are available. We can get you the information you need to register for licenses and tags.
This is truly incredible territory for the do-it-yourself kind of hunt. There is a lot of game, yet you are not too far from hotels and other accommodations in Craig or Hamilton. On some ranches there are cabins available to rent.
