Guided Whitetail Deer and Spring Turkey Hunts

We are located in beautiful Southampton County, Virginia – renown for incredible Whitetail Deer and Spring Turkey hunting! For over 100 years, our family has managed our 5000 acres for trophy whitetail deer, turkey as well as timber and crops. We have focused on providing quality hunting experiences for our guests, with the goal of making long-term relationships where hunters not only want to come back – they want to bring their family and friends to enjoy an exceptional hunting experience. Knowledgeable guides, friendly staff, great opportunity and comfortable accommodations are provided for each and every hunter!

Our hunters get an early start with Southampton Outfitters! We have the hunters in pre-scouted stands before the sun comes up and following the morning hunt, each hunter can decide to continue hunting (lunch provided) or come back and rest before the afternoon hunt. Our guides will gladly assist you in tracking and retrieving your game. In the evenings, we enjoy a delicious meal and swap stories of what we have seen or taken for the day.

Spring turkey hunting in Virginia is a beautiful – and exciting experience! We have a healthy population of wild turkey, which makes it really fun to call those birds in! Just like with the deer hunts, we get an early start and go for the gobblers before they fly down from their roost. We enjoy a hearty lunch and hunters are free to enjoy several afternoon activities including fishing in our 50 acre stocked pond or skeet shooting. Southampton Outfitters provides very nice accommodations for our hunters! We have a private log cabin with (2) bedrooms and (2) baths, and this cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 4 hunters. This cabin is in a beautiful spot with a view of one of the property’s ponds. We also have a lodge with a kitchenette and it can house up to 10 hunters in (2) bedrooms. It has 1 full bath and a big great room to relax and enjoy TV in the evenings.
