Ross Hammock Ranch (RHR) is a large (13 Mile border) private ranch
that is conveniently located on Florida's Nature Coast. It is just over
a 1 hour car ride North of the Tampa/St. Petersburg area and less than a
two hour car ride North West of the Orlando, and Disney area. RHR is
Florida's crown jewel for hunting, fishing, and outdoor enthusiasts!
All hunts are conducted on private hunting land and hunting license is
included.
RHR offers native game such as Whitetail Deer, Wild Hogs, and Osceola
Turkey. Also many species of exotic game such as Red Deer, Axis Deer,
Fallow Deer, Elk, Blackbuck Antelope, Sika Deer, Water Buffalo, Bison,
Rams, Simitar Oryx, Mnt. Goat and many African Game Species. RHR also
offers excellent fully guided saltwater and fresh water fishing trips.
RHR Photo Safaris are big fun for the entire family, as well. You can
hunt, fish, and relax YEAR ROUND at RHR!

Enjoy staying in the impressive RHR authentic Florida Cypress Log
Lodge. After your day afield or afloat, you will enjoy generous and
tasty meals, then tell stories if you like, around either the indoor
or outdoor fireplaces, watch a movie or ball game on the 106"
theatre screen, relax in the sports bar, or play a game of billiards
or darts. In addition to top-notch food and accommodations, You can
also take advantage of the RHR rifle range, 3D Archery target
shooting, screened in cleaning room, two walk in game coolers,
on-site butcher shop and services, and on-site taxidermy services.
Hunting at RHR is done via tree stands and/or spot and stalk methods. Bay
Dogs are available with prior request on Trophy Boar Hunts. Other than
the two non guaranteed hunts (Florida Whitetail and Osceola Turkey) you
only pay a harvest fee for game when you elect to shoot and do in fact
hit the animal with your shot.
Ross Hammock Ranch offers true southern hospitality in it's
impressive Cypress Log Lodge. After your day afield or afloat,

In addition to hunting, RHR offers some of the most exciting
guided fresh and saltwater fishing in the state of Florida. Just to
the west of the ranch lies the rich sprawling saltwater flats of the
Gulf of Mexico. Depending on the season, RHR guests catch Tarpon,
Cobia, Red Fish, Trout, Shark, Grouper and other species.
And of
course, Florida Bass fishing in the local rivers or the 4700 acre
Lake Ross-eau is legendary, including a large mouth bass that
weighed almost 18 pounds! Will an RHR guest catch the new world
