Offering: We offer a
once in a lifetime opportunity to come and bowfish for the
exciting, acrobatic, flying Asian Carp. Generally a
charter will last 6 hours or so depending on the stamina of the
group. The action is nonstop from the time we leave the boat
ramp until the time we quit. There are shot opportunities
unmatched by hunting any other species around the globe. The
rush you get after taking a big game animal comes in at a close
second when we put you in the hot seat and try to shoot these
crazy fish out of the air while trying to keep your composure
from the flying attacks of the hundreds of fish trying to flee
through the air in and around our boats. As if seeing this feat
up close isn't exciting enough, the feeling when you take your
first fish out of air is a feeling like no other hunt can
compare. I can personally guarantee the most exciting target
rich environment in the world, the rest is up to you. Be a part

Accommodations/Boat:
We use fully rigged War Eagle Boats on our charters. All
bowfishing equipment is provided. Our Forge Bows are tunable to
almost any shooter. They range from 20-60lb draw weight and
26-30" length. I recommend a lower weight because we are at full
draw for a good portion of the day. Generally we break for lunch
and eat at one of the restaurants on the riverfront in downtown
Peoria. Boats are stocked with beverages and plenty of ice. I
encourage everyone to bring personal snacks, sunscreen, old
clothes, and a lot of courage. Illinois fishing licenses are
available locally or can be purchased online and are required.
If an overnight stay is required any hotel in the Peoria area
would be fine. Most clients that make the trip can do so on a
weekend and still have a successful trip and make it back to
work by Monday morning.
